Hoosier Cut Stone Company, located at 2321 39th Street in Bedford, Indiana, is owned and operated by Greg Norman. They do custom cut stone work for business and residential, plus carving, cutting, and outdoor accent pieces.
The photos show the owner demonstrating a planer and their diamond saw in operation.

Independent Limestone Company is located at 6001 South Rockport Road in Bloomington, Indiana, and was founded in 1927.
The photos show one of their large quarry saws in operation and a cut of stone being turned.

Architectural Stone Sales is located at 1728 30th Street in Bedford, Indiana, and is owned and operated by the Evans Family.
They produce building stone, carving work, and offer slab cutting.

CHURCH
St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church can be found at 1723 "I" Street in Bedford, Indiana. It was built in the early 1900s. Its steeple is approximately 100 feet tall and is said to be the highest point in the city. It has a beautiful sanctuary with lots of limestone carvings
and detail, as shown in these photos.

QUARRY
Sasser Quarry is located on private property just off old Highway 37 north of Bedford, Indiana. It's owned by Alben & Jonna Sasser. Although it's no longer in use, it is still a great place to see first hand the quarry site, the different variations in the stone, and get a better understanding of the work involved.

COMPANY
Elliott Stone Company is located at 3326 Mitchell Road in Bedford, Indiana, and is owned and operated by the Dave & Judy Elliott family. They specialize in stair treads and windowsills. Besides having a fabrication mill, they also have an underground quarry. They currently have 45 acres quarried out underground and are able to continue operations year round thanks to the steady temperature inside.
